We a recently seen a slight uptick in complaints concerning phone scams. While there are several variations of the scam, most center around the scammers claiming to be some version of law enforcement. They go on to say either you or a love one is in legal trouble and you need to send them money to satisfy your legal issues. DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING. It is a scam. Simply hang up the phone. Also please speak with the elderly friends and family as often times they are the preferred targets.
