*****UPDATE***** The dog has been reunited with her family! Great work, Jennifer! A kind citizen has taken in this wandering dog. The dog is female and has a collar but no tags. She is reported to appear healthy and well cared for. She was found in the area of Birch Court near 24 Mile and Sass roads. Please reach out to Jennifer at 586-716-4327 if this is your dog.

On Sunday morning (10/29/2017), at approximately 5:45am, Chesterfield Township Police and Fire units, along with (2) Medstar units, responded to Gratiot and Hickey Road, the scene of a head-on critical injury accident. Both drivers were extricated from their vehicles and conveyed to McLaren Macomb. Although the investigation is ongoing, it appears at this time that the driver of the white Ford F-150 (Driver #1) was southbound on Gratiot, south of 25 Mile Road, and crossed over into the northbound lanes, colliding head-on with the black Dodge Ram pick-up (Driver #2). This sweet little German short-haired pointer mix was found on Hobarth Road yesterday afternoon. She is about 6 months old and has a natural tail. She is a squiggly little puppy so was hard to photograph. If you give her the opportunity she will wrap her paws around your neck in a hug and lick your face! On 09/10/2017, 17:54 Hrs. a customer was shopping at the Chesterfield Walmart located at 45400 Marketplace Dr. The customer/ victim conducted a transaction and then left her wallet on the Walmart service counter that contained cash, social security cards and multiple credit cards. The suspect, a B/F/30’s, approached the service counter, conducted a transaction, taking the wallet and placing the wallet in her cart. *****UPDATE***** Harry has been reunited with his family!!! This little sweetie was found on Pattyn Rd. He is an elderly fellow and seems to have a problem with his teeth or mouth. He is wearing a striped collar that is red, blue and yellow but he doesn't have any tags. He was scanned for a microchip but does not have one. Someone is missing their little snuggle buddy! This young, male cat was found in the Stonehenge neighborhood in the area of 23 Mile Rd. and the I-94 expressway. He is said to be friendly, litter box trained, neutered and ear tipped (a common practice of removing part of a cat's ear to be able to identify which animals have been altered in a feral colony). The suspect vehicle is described as an olive green Dodge Ram pickup truck. The driver of the suspect vehicle was described as a white male 25-35 years old. A citizen with a dash mounted camera obtained a video of the suspect vehicle as it fled the scene.
