Girl Scout Troop 309 (and some Daisies too) came for a tour of the police department this evening and work on their requirements. They enjoyed meeting Keno at the end and had some good questions about our job. Thank you ladies for being good listeners and we hope you enjoyed your visit!

K9 training on Tuesday. Building searches with Baxter K9 Rossi, our K9 Keno, and a short break to say farewell to K9 Gator. Rossi turned 1 yesterday, look at him jump for his toy after a successful search!

Congratulations to Baxter K9 Gator for reaching "retirement" after finishing his final shift early this morning! Gator assisted our department on over 200 calls in his 9 years of service, and he set a high bar for K9 Keno to strive for. Good luck Gator, we will miss your sass on the radio and your presence on calls keeping our officers safe!!

Hello Brainerd district students! We hope you had a fun-filled and exciting first day back at school today. Study hard, have a little fun and GO WARRIORS!

Don't bet against the boss! (Life advice for McGregor too) thank you Floyd Mayweather for getting to 50-0!

Hello boxing fans! K9 Keno thinks he could beat Mayweather AND McGregor in the fight tonight. We love the confidence of our working dog. Sergeant Dooley and Officer Pallansch have made their bet, and the loser has to wear his patrol cap for the rest of tonight's shift. Let us know who you think will win the match tonight. If you are watching the fight please enjoy responsibly and leave the fighting to the guys in the ring!

Please see attached press release.

Brainerd PD Officers Runde and Gleason teamed up with MN State Patrol Lt. Fulton to shoot off tee shirts into the crowd just before the Baja Rally Car races at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds. Thank you to Crow Wing County Fair organizers for their dedication to traffic safety and Brainerd Lakes Towards Zero Deaths!

As we were standing in line at the mini donut stand, trying to blend in and look inconspicuous, we made a new friend who bought us each a bag of donuts. Thank you, Hailey!! We enjoyed meeting you and appreciate the kind gesture.
