Got Drugs? National Drug Take Back Day is Saturday October 28th. Hopkins police will be collecting unused medications in the police department lobby from 10:00am-2:00pm. We are accepting nominations for Hopkins residents, ages 12-14, for Cops N Kids Shopping! Our shopping event will be held after school on Tuesday, December 12th. Cops N Kids shopping is an event where we take kids shopping on Mainstreet in Hopkins and they are able to purchase gifts for their families with money donated by the Hopkins Jaycees (now Hopkins JCI.) If you know of a child who would benefit from this event, please fill out the nomination form online or you can pick up a form in the police lobby. The nominations are due November 17th. Sgt. Hill stopped out at the Hopkins American Legion to thank the Vets and the Womens Auxilary for helping the SWAT team raise over 5,000 for hopkinsvolunteers.org. We appreciate our community partners and could not do all we do without you!
