Statutory Sodomy On July 7th, 2017, the Rolla Police Department’s Division of Criminal Investigations Unit initiated an investigation into the delayed report of a series of child molestation incidents that occurred during 2012 and 2013. During the course of the investigation, three children, who were all between the ages of 12 and 13 at the time, disclosed multiple incidents of sexual abuse by a known perpetrator. The incidents of sexual abuse occurred both in Rolla and in Steelville, Missouri. Spenser Farr, age 24 of Rolla, was identified as the perpetrator in each of these incidents. On February 27, 2018, Spenser Farr was arrested for one count of 1st Degree Statutory Sodomy for an incident in Phelps County, and four counts of 1st Degree Statutory Sodomy for four incidents that occurred in Crawford County. Spenser Farr remains incarcerated in the Crawford County Jail in lieu of $550,000 bond. Anyone with any information pertaining to this investigation or any other incidents should call their local law enforcement or Detective Meyer with the Rolla Police Department at (573) 308-1213. The charges for which Spenser Farr was arrested are merely accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
