We have recieved alot of individuals wanting information on the Police Academy. There are many different academys in Missouri, one of them being in Waynesville through the Missouri Sheriff's Association. The next class starts in August. They need a minimum of ten students for the Academy to happen. I have attached the link to the website. Feel free to contact our department for any questions you may have. CITY ANNOUNCEMENT: An emergency electrical outage is necessary to make repairs in the Ravenwood and Sunset areas. Expect that outage around 1:00 and it is expected to last two hours. Streets affected are Lincoln, Auburn, LaSalle, Bobby Dale and Sunset, as well as others. If you have any questions, please call 774-6171. And alert your neighbors who might not be on social media or listen to the local radio.

All traffic from St. Robert will be diverted down HWY 17, through the park and exit on Olive St. All east bound traffic will be diverted down Olive St. through the park and out HWY 17. REMINDER: HOMECOMING PARADE ROAD CLOSURE Waynesville Homecoming Parade is set for Friday September 29th, 2017. The parade will close down certain roadways in the City of Waynesville. These will be Benton Street and Historic Route 66 up to the Middle School. The Parade is set to begin at approximately 2:30 PM, and last year's Parade lasted around 2 hours. We thank travelers in advance for patience and kindness to workers and participants.

Update to Homecoming street closures. The streets surrounding the park will begin to close at 1:30 PM so that the vehicles and floats in the parade can set up. Historic 66 will be closed down beginning shortly before 2:30 PM for the event itself.
