Don't miss Gulfport Octane this Saturday from 9am to 2pm! Downtown streets south of the railroad, between 28th Ave and Hwy 49 will be blocked off beginning at 5am for this event. Please adjust your routes to allow for road closures! There will be a large number of exotic cars to see during this FREE event.

Congratulations to today's Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy Graduates! The Gulfport Police Department graduates include Officer Hunter Anderson, Officer Tyler Langham, and Officer Lawrence Mearlon. Officer Lawrence Mearlon took home the Larkin Smith Award for his outstanding performance during his time in the academy.

We would like to invite everyone on the coast to come out on November 14th from 7:00-8:00 p.m., to the Gulfport High School for the next game of the Gulfport Police Department Blue Crew. Kickoff is at 7:00pm, be there early to get a seat! We will be playing flag football with students from Gulfport High School against the Long Beach Police Department. This is a great opportunity to meet officers from the department and support this great program. This event is FREE and open to everyone on the coast, so please come join us!
