We were honored to hold a retiree luncheon for our retired PD family. There were stories told, hugs passed around and smiles from young and old. It was great to have our retired officers and employees meet some of our rookies and pass along stories from the past. We look forward to making this a tradition! #pdfamily

We are so proud to be a community partner with Adrienne's House. Thank you for the kind words and your support!

Please help us congratulate Sgt. Davis on his promotion to the rank of Lieutenant! Many of you know Lt. Davis as our lead K9 Handler; however during his time with our agency he has been so much more! His leadership, dedication, work ethic and desire to serve his city are just a few of the reasons this promotion is well deserved. Congratulations Lt. Davis!! 👮🏻💪🏻

Chief Johnson had the cutest trick or treater visit him at work today! His granddaughter Addy said she wanted to be a police officer just like her Papaw! She looks pretty good in the Chief’s chair.....future leo?! 👮🏻‍♀️🎃 #thinblueline #girlpower #halloween

Our first responders had a spooktacular time at the Jackson County Exceptional School's Fall Festival! Officer Mounie was so excited to decorate the back of her patrol unit so the kids could trunk or treat. Great job Officer Mounie and Pascagoula Fire Department!

Today was a very bittersweet day for our agency. We said our goodbyes to a great officer and friend, Officer Robert Thomas and then we were blessed that Officer Morris received only minor injuries when a vehicle pulled out in front of him during the funeral procession. We wish you a quick recovery Officer Morris!!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden and unexpected loss of one of our brothers in blue, Officer Robert Thomas. Officer Thomas was always seen with a smile on his face that was often contagious. He was a valuable asset to our department and our city and proudly served our country. He will be greatly missed and we are deeply saddened by this loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Thomas family during this difficult time.

A citizen sent this picture to us and commended Officer Morris and his love for our #goulayouth. The fella on the left looks for Officer Morris everyday before school so he can give him a fist bump. We were told that Officer Morris even goes out of his way to make sure this kid gets a fist bump from his “hero”. Thank you Officer Morris for showing the children of Pascagoula how amazing our police officers are!

Officer Snyder and Officer Lynd were eating dinner this evening when they were approached by 7 year old, Elizabeth Goldman. Her mother and her were also eating when she asked if she could tell the officers thank you for keeping the community safe. She thanked them and gave them a hug. We are so blessed to have the support of our #goulayouth. They are our future and this little girl made our officers' day!
