We are proud to announce that we have received re-accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). We are 1 of 8 law enforcement agencies in the state of MS to receive this award. Our team traveled to Frisco, TX where they attended the CALEA Conference and met with commissioners to answer questions about our agency. The commission unanimously voted for our department to receive our 2nd accreditation award. This is a very prestigious honor and we would like to thank Sgt. Weeks, our Accreditation Manager, along with officers and support staff for making this possible. Being an accredited agency means that we are held accountable for our policies and the police services we provide to you, the citizens. Great job team!

There is a $2 donation that will be taken at the door. Not a fan of chili? We will also have soup, sandwiches, salads and desserts. Come out and support our First Responders as well as eat some amazing food! 👮🏻‍♂️🥣 👮🏽‍♀️

We often hear people refer to police officers as heroes. However, some of us actually think the real heroes are the loved ones who support and stand beside our officers. Today, Lanace Davis, police wife of Lt. Richard Davis, presented a check to Deputy Chief Chapman in the amount of $2250! Mrs. Davis spearheaded a fundraiser, in which she sold shirts to help raise money for the Pascagoula Police Department’s Benefit Fund. These funds help us sponsor school activities, youth sports and other community programs. So we’d like to say thank you to OUR heroes....the men, women, family, friends, and citizens who help support our department and most of all, our community!

Yesterday Deputy Chief Chapman, Capt. Massey, Capt. Adams and Sgt. Weeks had the pleasure of interviewing students in Ms. Hodges’ Career Pathway Experience Class at Pascagoula High School. The students were able to experience our interview and hiring processes while learning a few interviewing tips, as well. We met some great kids and hopefully taught them a few things that will help them when they’re ready to step into their career path.

We are very excited to introduce our Bike Patrol Officers! These men and women in blue will be peddling through Pascagoula to help ensure our citizens are safe, improve traffic enforcement, surveillance and help patrol areas where our patrol units may not reach. Our officers have received advanced training from International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA), tested and are now qualified to hit the streets peddling! Please help us congratulate them on their success and volunteering to help make this program a success!

It’s always nice to see children support law enforcement, but it’s AWESOME when they decide they want to be a police officer when they grow up. You go girl! 👮🏼‍♀️👮🏽‍♀️ and we are definitely sending Miss Layla a patch for her collection 👍🏼☺️

Officer Alford found his Valentine! 😍👮🏻‍♂️🍩
