FYI - Tonight, January 9th starting at 11pm and continuing until 6am tomorrow, January 10th, the causeway bridge will be opening every hour on the hour and will remain open for approximately 15 minutes each time. This is in an effort to break up and clear the remaining ice and snow which is affecting the safe operation of the bridge. Please be patient and plan ahead if you will be crossing the bridge tonight.

FYI: They are currently having difficulty getting the drawbridge to go all the way down and are unable to safely allow people across. They are working to remedy the issue. Information from the bridge is that it will be at least 15 minutes. We will update with any new information as we receive it. UPDATE: The bridge is down at this time and traffic is flowing.
