Big thank you to Wingate Elementary for letting Chief Gay shoot a video for Red Ribbon Week that will be seen by nearly 700 students about pledging to stay drug free, making goals, following your dreams, and staying in school.

Chief took the time to sneak in a little consequences talk to the after school kids....and they put a plastic rat on his head! Oh well, can’t have rat free days all the time....

Sgt. Ray and Officer Pettit was able to speak with this young lady and teach her why she should never be afraid of law enforcement and that police officers are here to help in anyway we can! #CommunityPolicing

If they threaten to arrest, deport or take your driver's license, it's a scam. Do not give out your personal information to anyone over the phone. They might call you from a number appearing as a Washington, D.C. number. It's best to not answer. If the IRS needs to contact you, it's usually by mail. Below is a link from the Federal Trade Commission which has helpful information. If you aren't sure if it's legitimate, call your local law enforcement.
