Happy Halloween! Please use caution while driving through our neighborhoods this evening. Parents, the National Safety Council has some good information on safe trick-or-treating here: We wish everyone a safe, fun and spooky night!

We accepted 105 pounds of pills during our Prescription Drug Takeback event today! Thank you to everyone who participated.

The Blair Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration this Saturday, 28 October from 10AM-2Pm for our prescription drug take-back event. Bring your unused and expired prescription drugs to the police department and we will dispose of them for you safely. We can't accept liquids, needles, inhalers or bio-waste. Please help us to keep dangerous medications out of the hands of our youth and our water system.

Blair Police and Fire are on the scene of a tractor-trailer fire just west of the roundabout on Hwy 30. Traffic is being diverted to County Road 26 and Hwy 133 until the fire is extinguished. Please avoid the area if possible.

Congratulations to our newest officer, Trevor Wittrock. Officer Wittrock took his Oath of Office this morning and is beginning his training with the Blair Police Department. We wish Trevor the best of luck in his new career!
