‪The majority of the snow is expected to start falling shortly. This is a reminder that ALL VEHICLES PARKED ON DESIGNATED SNOW STREETS MUST BE MOVED or you will be subject to ticket/tow. You may utilize school or town rec parking lots ‬

‪State of emergency declared by Governor Murphy...‬

‪Important information regarding the impending Nor’easter for 3/21/18.. No vehicles are to be parked on designated “snow streets” when Road is snow covered. You may utilize school or town rec parking lots ‬

‪REMINDER: NO PARKING WHEN ROAD IS SNOW COVERED IS IN EFFECT... vehicles will be subject to ticket and or tow. ‬

‪Another Nor’easter is headed our way! We are expecting approximately 8 inches of heavy, wet snow! Below is a list of designated “snow streets”.. please remember that there is NO PARKING on these streets once the roads become snow covered. We appreciate everyone’s help! ‬

‪With Spring around the corner, we want to remind everyone that vehicles MUST yield to pedestrians in Crosswalks.. (Failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk will cost you 2 points and a $200.00 fine 39:4-36) .. please stay alert it may save a life! ‬

‪Road Closure update: Broughton Ave is reopened! ‬

If your vehicle is parked in any of the school parking lots it must be removed immediately!

‪There are numerous wires and trees down throughout the Township. Please use extreme caution if you must venture out... West Passaic Ave is closed between Broad and East Passaic for a street light down. Broughton Ave is closed between Hobson and Gracel. We are working diligently to clear the roadways! If you parked your vehicle in a school lot, it must be removed immediately.

‪Update: JFK Drive by Foley Field is reopened at this time!!! ‬

‪Road closure: JFK North by Foley field is closed due to a tree down. Please use caution if you must travel ‬

‪Township Notification: Now that bulk of the snow storm is over, we are asking all residents who parked in the school lots to remove their cars from the lots. All cars must be removed from the lots by noon Thursday, or they will be towed. ‬

‪Due to the high winds and dangerous conditions, there are several wires and trees down throughout the Township. Broughton Ave is closed between Gracel and Hobson due to a tree down. Please avoid the area! We ask that you stay off the roads if possible! ‬

‪The roads are treacherous. We are working diligently with DPW to assure an efficient clean up. Please stay off the roads unless it’s absolutely necessary to travel! ‬

‪Snow Emergency is in full effect! There are to be no vehicles parked on designated “snow streets” or you may be subject to ticket and/or tow. Below is a list of “snow streets”. You may park in the school lots or Municipal lots. If you have a driveway, please use it! ‬

‪Winter Storm Warning in effect: We are asking all residents to remove their cars from the street this evening. You may park your car in any school or township Rec parking lot. All cars must be moved from designated snow streets once the snow starts to accumulate. ‬
