9-11 Ceremony K-8 School this morning. A big thank you to Greenville City Schools and the students.
Today we remember the fallen, those whose lives were taken by cowards. We remember the brave men and women who plunged head first into danger and chaos without a thought to their own lives to rescue those who called out for help. We remember the way we felt; the way we came together as a nation and community regardless of beliefs, ideologies, race or ethnicity. We were all just Americans then; standing together, the way we should be every day. WE SHALL NEVER FORGET!
