On March 1, 2018 at approximately 07:49 a.m. our department received reports of two deer jumping through the glass of an apartment located on East Main Street. Both deer were trapped inside the apartment and secured inside a room until the Ohio Division of Wildlife arrived on location. With assistance from multiple officers at our agency, McComb Fire Department and the Ohio Division of Wildlife, the deer have been released and no one was injured during this incident. We want to thank all the agencies who assisted in releasing the deer in such a timely and efficient manner including the Village of McComb Street Department who assisted in cleaning up the glass.
