KPD and the City of Kirtland in partnership with @offerup have established a Meet Up Spot at City Hall. The @offeruup Meet Up Spots program will help eliminate the need for two strangers to exchange items at a home or residence. Having a designated public space to conduct a transaction can help deter criminal intent and activity. The Kirtland Meet Up Spot is inside City Hall's lobby and all activity is recorded. The lobby at City Hall is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Dispatch at KPD can monitor the transaction if desired as they can be notified upon the arrival of the individuals.

KPD, Kirtland High School Drama Club, Lake Erie Limo, Angelos Pizzeria, Kirtland Police Association, the Mayor of Kirtland and many generous donations from the residents and business's of Kirtland provided an amazing day for several local families.
