Does anyone recognize these two subjects? They are believed to be responsible for a series of car break-ins in the Bryn Du Drive area on the 29th of January.

Jones Road is currently closed due to a downed tree. The Service Department has been called in and the roadway should reopen in a few hours.

Power has been restored to the downtown area. Burg St. will remain closed due to a tree across the roadway near Briarwood Dr. Once Windstream clears their line off of the tree, our crew will be able to remove it. Thank you all for remaining patient.

As we continue to experience cold weather and slippery conditions, we will check on individuals or families that anyone has a concern about due to the weather. Please contact our department (740) 587-1234 for any questions/concerns.

As of 4:53am, power has been restored to all but 114 in the downtown area. The road crews are still clearing the main roadways and will move on to side streets once that is done. It seems the snow has subsided but drifting and low temperatures will continue to hamper progress. Everyone please remain patient and if travel is necessary, use caution. Be safe!

Per the Sheriff’s Office, Licking County is under a Level 2 Snow Emergency.

We are trying to get crews into town to restore power, unfortunately we do not have an estimated time for service restoration . If need be, you can take shelter at the Village Offices located at 141 E. Broadway.

Thank you to our partners across Licking County and throughout this great nation!

We would like to welcome Officer David Fosco as the newest member of our Department.
