All of us at Moraine P.D. would like to wish everyone a safe and happy New Years Eve!!!

The Walmart Moraine and Moraine Police Division help make Christmas dreams come true.

Be on the lookout for Santa...

Check us out tomorrow at 8pm. We will be broadcasting a special message. Be sure to have your kiddos close by.

We were lucky enough to meet this couple while they were waiting in line at the checkout at Walmart last night. They were surprised to find us standing behind them and even more surprised when they found out we were going to pay for their entire shopping cart. Thank you to Walmart for allowing us to share in this special moment.

The boys and girls of the Moraine Mentoring Program have had a great year. Tonight they each received a special gift from Santa Claus and a stocking filled with goodies made by some of our very generous and dedicated officers (and dispatcher 😉). Merry Christmas, Moraine Mentoring from your friends at MPD! 🎄🎁⛄️🎄

We received a visit today from Jeff Liu and his staff at Fuyao Glass America this morning. They came bearing plenty of Christmas treats. We are grateful for the partnership that has formed. We wish everyone at Fuyao glass a Merry Christmas.

REMINDER; As it continues to get colder outside do not leave your cars running and unattended. We all understand how nice it is to get into a toasty car on a cold day, but thieves will target these opportunities. Keep this in mind when going to gas stations or making a quick stop at a business. Thieves concentrate on high traffic areas and can steal your car within seconds. Take the time to shut your car off and lock it up.

2017 Shop With A Cop; We would like to thank Meijer for all that they do to make this event possible. We had a great time taking the kids around and making some Christmas wishes come true. Special thanks to our very own Kendra Bryant for organizing all of the agencies involved and making the event a success.

Moraine PD raised almost $500 for charity during No Shave November. As you can see, some beards came in better than others. Thanks to all who participated.

UPDATE; On December 2, 2017, officers located and arrested Gary and Sherman Edmonds of Dayton in reference to a felony theft that occurred at Walmart on November 2, 2017. They are currently incarcerated at the Montgomery County Jail. Formal charges will be presented to the Montgomery County Prosecutors Office.

Thanks to Police and Fire for passing out gifts to the kids who attended the Tree Lighting Ceremony

2017 Tree Lighting. Santa brought a bag of goodies and some Christmas cheer!

Happy Thanksgiving from everyone at the Moraine Police Department!!!
