We have been receiving a lot of complaints of thefts from vehicles over the past few days. Affected areas have been in the west end to include Brewer Heights, Hesswood Hills and the University area. Although we have increased patrols in those areas, we would remind folks to remove valuables such as purses, computers, cell phones, etc. from plain view and to lock up your cars. Those wanting to report suspicious activity can call 740-773-1191.
