North Canton Police Officers Promoted:

The North Canton Jaycees dropped off a donation box for anyone wanting to donate a new pair of socks for the homeless during the month of October. The mission is called "SOCKTOBER" and donating a pair of socks can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless. The box is placed on top of our Prescription Drug Take Back Box located inside the lobby doors to City Hall. The North Canton Police Department is investigating the use of a stolen credit card. We are seeking information as to the identity of these two individuals in these photos. We understand that the photos may not be of the best quality but if anyone can recognize them you are asked to contact the North Canton Police Department at 330-499-5911. This dog was found without a collar in the 900 block of Oakwood SE. Anyone having information about the owner please contact the North Canton Police Department (330) 499- 5911. This dog was just turned over to the dog warden (330) 451-2343

Canton Police Department locate this friendly male dogs home or owners. He was found this evening around Schneider ST and Woodside Ave SE area. He is wearing a red collar, but has no ID tags. ******UPDATE***************** "Sam" has been reunited with his family!! Please help the North Canton Police Department locate this friendly male Labrador Retriever's home. He was found in the 400 block of Winston NE around 7:30pm today. If anyone has any information about the dog or it's owners, please contact the Police Department at 330-499-5911.

Power outage: various locations in the city have lost power. We have been told they estimate the power will be restored by 6:30p.

NCPD recently added a new sign to our parking lot designating it as a "MEETUP SPOT" for Internet Purchase Exchanges. The sign was donated by Offerup.

The dog has a multi color collar on with no ID tags. She was found in the 600 block of West Maple St. this afternoon. If anyone has any information about her or the owners, please contact the North Canton Police Department at 330-499-5911.

********UPDATE*********** This canine has been reunited with its owner. This brown male Pitbull was found running down the 1000 block of East Maple St. tonight around 8:00 pm. If anybody recognizes this Pitbull and knows who the owner is, please contact the owner or the North Canton Police Department at 330-499-5911

The Husky has been returned to the owner. Thank You for the help.

This dog was found on S. Main St. near Schneider St. SE. It is a tan and white male Husky with light brown eyes. He is wearing a blue collar, with no tags. If anyone has information about the owner please contact the North Canton PD. The dog warden will be contacted in the morning. He has been returned to the owner.

The North Canton Polce Department is investigating the recent rash of car break ins in which a credit card was stolen and used. We are seeking identification information of the individuals in the associated photos. ****UPDATE**** Ava has been reunited with her family. Thank you for your assistance! ****************** Please help the North Canton Police Department locate this cute little female dogs home. She was found this evening at the Northwood Elementary School parking lot. If anyone has any information about her or the owners, please contact the North Canton Police Department at (330)499-5911. The dog will remain at the police department until tomorrow morning and then it will be turned over to the Stark County Dog Warden.

This keyboard was found lying in the street of the 100 block of West Maple St. NW last night at 2:15am. If anyone knows who the owner might be, please contact the North Canton Police Department at 330-499-5911. The owner will have to be able to prove ownership. The item will be kept for 90 days.
