Last night, we had a few houses and vehicles damaged by group of people with a BB gun. Municipality of Carlisle is seeking applications for a Police Officer Eligibility List. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; 21 yrs of age; possess OPOTA Basic Police Certificate or currently in an academy. See Village website at for additional requirements and job description. Applications available at the Municipality of Carlisle Town Hall, 760 Central Ave, Carlisle OH 45005, 8am-4:30pm, M-F & on the Village website. Return completed application packet, copy of high school diploma/GED & OPOTA Basic Police Certificate to the same address by 4pm on Mon 11/27/17. Selected applicants will undergo physical fitness exam, extensive background investigation, polygraph, psychological exam, & post offer, pre-employment physical & drug test. A required written exam will be given on Sat 12/2/17 at 9:00am at Carlisle Town Hall 760 Central Ave Carlisle Ohio. Check-in at 8:30am. $20 cash test fee and Photo ID is required. Required physical agility test will follow written exam. EOE
