From: Bryan Frazier, Superintendent of Claremore Public Schools Many thanks to the Claremore Police Department, Claremore Public Schools teachers and employees, for safely relocating our students today following a bomb threat. We are grateful for the cooperation and support from parents on what has been a tough day for everyone. After school today, bus routes will be running as usual from the relocation sites. Students will be dropped off at their normal drop-off locations in their neighborhoods. Zebra Stripes directors will be at the relocation sites to provide after-school care. Parents will need to pick up their students at the relocation sites rather than their school sites. We are contacting parents who have children that typically walk home. We will need to speak to parents before we allow them to be transported back to school to walk home. Everyone is thankful that our children are all safe today.

The Claremore Police Department would like to let everyone know the Zebra Stripe program will go on as scheduled at the relocation sites and not at the normal location. School personnel will stay at the relocation sites until regularly scheduled pick-up time for Zebra Stripes.

Claremore Police would like to inform the parents that have children that walk home from school. Children are not going to be allowed to walk home without parent's permission. Members of the school system will be reaching out to parents that have children that normally walk home.

Claremore Police want to let all parents know that students are going to be sent to pick-up sites so parents can pick them up. The locations are as follows: Northeast Technology Center (NTC) will be the pick-up site for Westside Elementary and Catalaya Elementary. The address for NTC is 1901 N Hwy 88. 1st Baptist Church will be the pick-up site for Claremont Elementary and Stuart Roosa Elementary. The address for 1st Baptist is 107 E. Will Rogers Blvd. Claremore Public library will be the pick-up site for the High School and Jr. High. The address is 1515 N. Florence Ave. The Claremore Community Center will be the pick-up site for additional highschool children. The address is 2301 N. Sioux Ave. Alternative Learning can be picked up from the school. The address is 102 W. 10th St. High School Project CEEP students can be picked up New Hope Church of God located at 1904 N. Sioux Ave. Parents are encouraged to pick-up their children now.

Claremore Police are in the early stages of investigating bomb threats at various public schools in Claremore. Claremore Police has been in contact with the school and at this time the schools are not requesting parents pick up their children.

The Claremore Police Department is pleased to announce our newest officer. Officer Kyle Brassfield recently graduated from the police academy and was officially sworn in at the latest City council meeting.

Please see below for the official release concerning an incident that occured yesterday. The Claremore Police Department wants to ensure everyone the safety of our students and teachers are always a top priority.

The Claremore Police encourage people not to travel unless necessary. The roads are getting slick and we have worked several wrecks over the last hour. If you have to get out please take your time and keep plenty of distance between you and the car in front of you.

The Claremore Police would like to warn everyone of a scam going around. In the last several days, Claremore Police have taken several calls where the caller says a relative is currently in jail and needs to bail out. The caller asks for prepaid cards in various amounts to be sent to free the relative. Recently the caller has asked for ITune Cards. At no time will law enforcement call and demand payment and the jail would never accept any prepaid card like ITunes for payment. If you receive one of these calls hang up!
