The usual methods for disposing medications, such a flushing them down the toilet or discarding them in the trash, pose potential safety and health hazards. The King City Police Chaplain is looking for new blood donors for his 9th Annual 9/11 Commemorative Blood Drive on Sept 11 at Sherwood Police Dept. Please feel free to share, he has a goal of reaching 100 Pints! Please get signed up with the Red Cross! ___________________________________________________ 38% of the US population is eligible to give. That means 62% of you have traveled to the wrong country or have a past or present illness or your blood is iron-poor or you just don't weigh very much. The rest of you have no excuse. And here's the really sad part: Less than 10% of those eligible 38% have ever given blood. That means the entire supply of life-saving blood in the US falls to those few who take the time every 2-3 months to go a pint low for the rest of us. I'm looking for new donors for my 9th Annual 9/11 Commemorative Blood Drive at the Sherwood Police Department. Please help us set a new record with 100 pints by calling 1 (800) RedCross and tell them you want to sign up for the 9/11 Drive at Sherwood Police Department.
