Here are the six winning posters chosen by a panel of judges (one which was our new police chief James Sabath) for the 2018 Newtown Arbor Day celebration. The posters were designed by Goodnoe Elementary School 1st and 5th grade students. Newtown Borough's annual Arbor Day celebration will be held at the Brian S. Gregg Memorial Park on Friday, April 27th.

Here are some of the current road conditions. Patrol is advising the roads are slick and to use caution if you have to go out in the storm.

Here we go again!! Newtown Borough is issuing a snow emergency effective at 6:00 P.M on Tuesday March 20, 2018 till Thursday March 22, 2018 or until further notice. Please remove All vehicles from the snow emergency routes.

*** UPDATE *** Family is reunited with their dog. Thank you to everyone who shared our post. Found dog Please help us reunite this dog with his owners. This dog was found on Washington Avenue and Chancellor Street. The dog has no collar or tags. At the time of this post we do not know if he has a chip. Update: Traffic lights are functioning again and PECO is not reporting any power outages in our area. TRAFFIC ADVISORY The traffic lights at Washington Avenue and Lincoln Avenue are out. Temporary stop signs are being placed at the intersection until power is restored. We are aware of individual power outages and PECO was advised.

This is the result of an investigation that began here and sent to the Bucks County District Attorneys Office.

We have been advised by the Mayor that a snow emergency will take effect tomorrow when we reach 3" of snow. Please follow our previous post in regards to our snow ordinance. Avoid those $25 tickets and tow fees!
