***ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS*** Reminder: It is just about that time of year where ordinance violation complaints start coming in. Please help by complying with these ordinances. 1. HIGH GRASS- grass cannot exceed 6" tall. 2. TRASH- cannot be stored outside(for extended periods of time and have piles of trash bringing in rodents) and must be disposed of through a waste company. 3. JUNK VEHICLES- a "junk" vehicle is classified as a vehicle that is not street legal. Vehicles on properties must have a valid registration, valid inspection, and insurance. If a property is found in violation a RED WARNING TAG will be placed on the door. Do not hesitate to call if you have any questions regarding the warning tag. If the violations are not brought into compliance within the amount of time provided a citation will be issued. There are many other ordinances but these are the top three complaints we receive every year. If you would like additional information on the ordinances or have any questions please call the police department or the township office. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
