2018 Benefit Softball Game - Guns & Hoses. We would like to thank Michele Weiss for performing the National Anthem. Don Wenger for being an awesome umpire. Sign Me Up sign shop for the raffle donation and, of course, the Manheim Hope Fire Department for being great sports. Congrats to Jennifer Rounds for winning the raffle. Thanks to all who donated to this cause. We raised $495.25 toward K9 Casper’s fund and $442.65 for Aaron’s Acres.

Police Week 2018 Candlelight Vigil

Today, during National Police Week, we remember one of our own and all those fallen officers who paid the ultimate price in the protection of others. Sergeant Delbert R. Flowers Jr. Manheim Borough Police Department End of Watch:11/09/84 Sgt. Flowers was 32 years old at the time of his death. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was survived by his wife and son.

Leader Heights K9 Casper Demo with Officer Colwell and Detective Szulborski

Thanks to Leader Heights Animal Hospital for hosting the K9 Veterans Day event on March 10, 2018. They presented awards and honored service animals and their handlers, memorialized heroes and created a memorial garden for those passed. K9 Casper, Ronin and Edik were there from Lancaster County. MBPD’s Casper received a service award and showed off his skills.

We have another phone scam going on. A phone number from Patriot, OH is calling people and stating they are tracking people down for fraud. They will make financial demands to the people they are calling and will not provide any information. Please do not give them any of your personal information and hang up the phone. If by chance you do give them your information please give us a call at 717-665-2481.
