***Borough Residents*** The fire company will be hosting a training this evening where the MEDEVAC helicopter will be landing at the elementary school at approximately 7:30 Monday.

The phone calls usually claim that the recipient owes funds from previous tax years and that there is currently a warrant for the person. Come see us at Fall Fest this Saturday! Our Police department will be offering fun things for the kids...look for our tent! Saturday 10/14/17 at 3pm, concluding with a live band and bonfire after 6pm. Food vendors, inflatables, hay rides, reptile exhibit, bake sale, caricature drawings, face painting, fire truck display with "Fire Safety Month" items from our Freemansburg Vol. Fire Co./Fire Police, kids crafts, and craft vendors all sponsored by our Borough Parks & Recreation Committee & staff.

***BOROUGH RESIDENTS*** The fire company will be performing pump testing on the trucks on Friday 9/22/17 beginning at 8:00am, at the fire hydrant in the Monroe St. cul-de-sac. You may experience brown water...we apologize for the inconvenience, but this testing is necessary. Thank you!!!

FYI...Main St. extension is currently CLOSED to traffic between Washington and Freemansburg Ave. due to a large tree down with wires across the roadway. Please use caution and obey the flaggers in this area. PPL states the road could be closed 6-8 hours. Look for updates here! Sorry for the inconvenience while Main St. is being cleared!

THANK YOU Freemansburg Borough for not letting the storms keep you away. It cleared in time to serve almost 500 residents & friends for a night full of food, fun, crime and drug prevention in our small town in just three hours. This event has grown every year and we thank our own Police, Fire, Mayor, Council, Borough Staff & numerous volunteers & donors for making this happen. This event is funded 100% on donations. See you all 8/7/18 for another National Night Out Against Crime!
