**Informational** Our Department has received numerous calls for people going door to door soliciting within the Borough. Soliciting in the Borough has to be approved by the Borough/Police Department. If a solicitor arrives at your door, ask to see their soliciting permit issued by the Borough. This will help determine if the solicitor(s) is legitimate and authorize to solicit. If a company or organization applies for a permit, we retain the identification of the solicitor(s). If you are approached by a solicitor(s) and they are unable to produce a permit issued by the Borough, please call us so we can look into the matter. Be vigilant Borough residents!
