Part Time Police Officer Opportunity Wilson Borough PA IMMEDIATE VACANCY The Wilson Borough Police Department is seeking part time Police Officers. Applications may be obtained in the Borough Office, 2040 Hay Terrace Easton, PA between the hours of 8:30AM-4:00PM or on the Wilson Borough website, www.wilsonborough.org. Completed applications can be forwarded to the Wilson Borough Police Department 2035 Butler St. Easton PA, 18042. All applicants must be a United States Citizen and have reached their 21st birthday before submitting the application. They must also possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a Police Officer, possess a PA operator’s license prior to appointment, have successfully completed ACT 120 (Municipal Police Officers Training) and be eligible for immediate certification as a Police Officer. Applicants MUST submit copies of their operator’s license, Act #120 certification, or a current MPOETC card. Successful applicants will be required to pass a physical & psychological examination and a background investigation to include a polygraph examination. Date: 03/13/2018 To: Local Media Fr: Chief Christian E. Meehan Re: Shots Fired On March 13, 2018 at 1214 a.m., the Wilson Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Butler St. for multiple reports of shots fired. The reporting parties heard what sounded like gun shots coming from that location. Responding officers canvassed the area and located several spent shell casings in the 1500 block of Butler St. Officers were unable to locate any damaged property, injured persons, or eye witnesses. Palmer Twp. Police also assisted with the incident. If anyone has information, please contact the Wilson Borough Police Department through the Northampton County 911 center at 610.759.2200 or Detective Hillis at 610.258.8542.

UPDATE: Snow Emergency will be lifted at 7pm. Snow Emergency has been declared for Wilson Borough: Effective Wednesday March 07, 2018 at 7am. All vehicles must be removed from snow emergency routes by 11am or they will be ticketed/towed.
