On July 20th Officers of the Rush Twp and Kline Twp Police arrested Jose Contes of Mcadoo. Through an investigation Contes was found to be selling illegal narcotics in Rush Township. Contes was charged with possession within intent to deliver, he was arraigned and lodged in Schuylkill county prison

On July 21, 2017 the Rush Township Police conducted a traffic stop on a dodge neon for multiple traffic violations. Through the investigation of the traffic stop the driver was identified as David J Conahan, Conahan was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, also wanted out of Schuylkill county District Attorneys Office for failure to appear. Conahan was lodged in Schuylkill county prison.
