We have a drop box, located in the Police Department lobby, where you can safely dispose of your old medications. Please take the time to use our location, as needed. Help us protect our children from the exposure to dangerous prescription medications.

We would like to congratulate Patrolman Cremonni on his graduation from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy! Today's graduation marked the completion of twelve weeks of intensive training, in which, Ptl. Cremonni earned his Class 1 certification to be a police officer in our state. Ptl. Cremonni will be assigned to our Patrol Division, welcome to the force!

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Trooper brothers and sisters.

***Update 12:09PM, Springfield Parkway is now reopened to regular traffic.*** Fort Mill Officers are currently out assisting the Fort Mill Fire Department with a gas leak in the vicinity of Adventure Road on Springfield Parkway. That section of Springfield Parkway will be shutdown until the leak can be repaired. There is no immediate threat to public safety in that area at this time. However, please avoid the area if possible. We will update this post when the roadway is reopened. **York County Natural Gas is on scene.

US Hwy 21 has been reopened to regular traffic. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this mornings incident. Thank you all for your patience.

Officers are currently working a motor vehicle accident on US Hwy 21, between Coltharp Road and Springfield Parkway. Due to the seriousness of that accident, that section of US Hwy 21 has been shutdown. Please avoid the area if at all possible. We are working to open the road as quickly as we can, and the safety of all involved is the number one priority. Update*** 8:28AM US Hwy 21 has been reopened to regular traffic.
