Please share to help spread the word The Rutledge Police Department in partnership with, The Grainger County Baptist Assoc., Knox County Baptist Assoc., Jefferson County Baptist Assoc., Nolachucky Baptist Assoc., Grainger County Sheriff Department, and several local business to provide relief items to the victims of the flood in Texas. The items can be dropped off at the Grainger County Baptist Assoc. at 178 Cambridge Avenue, Rutledge, TN 37861 during the hours of 9am - 4pm or by appointment by calling Eddie Holbrook at 865-850-5088 or Mayor Fred Sykes at 865-566-4301. Also the Dollar General Stores in Grainger County and surrounding areas have placed a box in their stores for items to be purchased and donated. The Tractor and Trailer trucks have been donated by local companies to take the items to Texas. The shuttle bus at the Rutledge Middle School is shut down. There is enough parking at the funeral home

On Saturday, 28th of January, at 2:00 pm JDUB'S funeral will be at Smith's Funeral Home. If there is no available parking at Smith's Funeral Home, the Rutledge Police Department asks everyone to park at Rutledge Middle School. The Rutledge Police Department will provide shuttle services to transport everyone to and from the funeral home. Please share this post to spread the word.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to JDub's family. JDub was a honorary Chief of Rutledge Police Department and a hero in our community. He will continue to be in our hearts and minds.

We would like to thank everyone who came out last night. With the help from Smith's Drug Store we raised $850.00 Modern Woodmen of America will be matching the $850.00 which gives us a grand total of $1,700.00 Thank you all very much

On Monday 5th of December at 5:00pm the Rutledge Police Department will be hosting a benefit dinner at The Rutledge Middle School hamburgers $3 hot dogs $2 drinks and chips $1 each. All proceeds will go to help Shop with a Cop and Angel Tree
