We ask everyone to please drive slow and have patience when traveling through The City of McEwen today. These items were recovered by the McEwen Police Department. They possibly came from the Bold Springs area or the Old Blacktop Road area. If you think these items may be yours contact Captain Michael Pate at 931-582-6211. Thank you. We do know these items are stolen. They were turned over to us by a suspect while we were recovering other items involved in a theft. The suspect committed many thefts and burglaries and did not remember where these came from. Most of the thefts were from out buildings and sheds. So check your storage buildings if you have not in a while.

Evan Stulak was found and returned to his parents. Thank you for your concern and interest in his safety.

This is the result of the counterfeit money investigation. In identifying people passing the fake money, with the great help of citizens, the investigation led investigators out into the county and the case was turned over to the Humphreys County Sheriff's Office. Great team work by all involved.

We would like to thank everyone for helping us to identify the subjects in the photos earlier today. This is an ongoing investigation and the interest and information provided today will help expedite the process. Thank you again.
