Rolling through a stop sign cost this young lady more than a ticket last night. It was just after midnight when an officer saw 22 year old Alexis Lopez failing to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Boatman and Ackerman Roads. Her overly nervous behavior and the distinct smell of marijuana led to her arrest. She has booked in on charges that included possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving a motor vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. At the time of this post she was still waiting to see the judge at the magistrate’s office. NOTICE: All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law. The fact that person has been arrested confined, indicted for, or otherwise charged with, any offense does not reflect the final disposition of the case.
