FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 7, 2017 Aggravated Robbery TEXAS – On October 24, 2017, at approximately 09:41 p.m., Copperas Cove Police responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at Little Caesars Pizza, located at 300 Cove Terrace, Copperas Cove, Texas. During the robbery, the suspects displayed handguns and assaulted one of the employees. The suspects fled on foot from the store with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and entered a white sedan. The suspects are described as a 6'3”, stocky black male wearing a mask, hoodie, sweat pants, gloves, and white shoes. The second suspect was described as 6'00” slender black male, wearing a mask, gloves, and a hoodie. Update: As a result of this investigation arrest warrants were issued for Lazarus Israel Duaquon Bush for the aggravated robbery at Little Caesars’ Pizza and a second aggravated robbery that occurred on 10-28-2017 at the 7-11 convenience store located at 2124 E Business Highway 190. Lazarus was arrested by the Killeen Police Department on 10-30-2017 for multiple aggravated robberies that occurred in Killeen. The Copperas Cove warrants were served at the Bell County Jail on 11-03-2017 where he was arraigned and received a $150,000 surety bond. The investigation is still ongoing with the potential for additional arrests.

It's Municipal Courts Week!!! Thank you to our Judges, Court Clerks, Court Administrators, Bailiffs, and Warrant Officers who are all an important part of the CJ system. Stop by the Copperas Cove Municipal Court, located at 602 S. Main Street, this week during regular business hours to receive traffic safety resource materials courtesy of TxDOT and take the opportunity to learn about our local court.
