Corinth Police Department News

Congratulations CPA Class #010! Your dedication to our community and eagerness to learn more about our field was exemplary. The 12 graduates left with a much better understanding of what our Police Department does, a greater respect for what officers are challenged with every day, and a desire to help others to understand how our Police Department functions. Their class motto was “Be a shining light” in the community. We hope we lived up to that expectation and more! Congratulations!

Congratulations Officer Graham Quattlebaum on your promotion to Corporal!

Our Corinth P.D. Family celebrated Thanksgiving a little early this year. We would like to thank City Manager Bob Hart and Councilmen Don Glockel and Lowell Johnson for stopping by to fellowship with us. We were also honored to have Andrew and Kirsten join us! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Your generous gift helps support programs at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Prevent Cancer Foundation, and Fight Colorectal Cancer. All four of these foundations are making great strides to fight, research, and find a cure for cancer, each in their own unique way.

This little guy was located on Mason Ave this afternoon. If he belongs to you please contact the Lake Dallas Animal Shelter.

Since 1985 Red Ribbon Week has been used to promote a “Drug free America.” The Corinth Police Department is marking Red Ribbon Week 2017 by collaborating with LDISD in a campaign to educate children about the dangers of substance abuse. We are doing this by talking to High School students at lunch and handing out red ribbons to serve as a constant reminder of the dangers of drug abuse. We are also spending time in health classes talking about the dangers of impaired driving and simulating impaired driving using our "drunk goggles"

You still have time to make it out to Pumpkin Palooza. We will be here until 9pm tonight. Come on out!

**Pumpkin Palooza** Be sure to stop by one of our Child ID stations to get a bracelet for your little ones in case they stray off from your group. We are located under one of the orange tents.
