Toys For Tots - Donate a Toy Our own, Officer Shaun Van Eaton, also serves as an active reservist with the U. S. Marine Corps and participates in the Toys For Tots campaign. Toys For Tots accepts new, unwrapped toys and distributes them as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which they were received. If interested in donating, there are bins in both the City Hall lobby and the Police Department's lobby located at 818 W Main Street in Monroe. Operation Hope for Children's The Monroe Police Department is partnering with the Cascade MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group. We are collecting specific items (see attached) to make giving baskets for Seattle Children's Hospital. Cascade MOPS will be putting together the baskets and our officers will be delivering them to the hospital in December. Donations can be dropped off at the Monroe Police Department through December 1st.

Congratulations - Chaplain Graduation Two of our Chaplains, Heather Fox and Michael Penick graduated from the Chaplain's week long Academy last night. Heather and Michael are two of our six Chaplains that serve the Monroe area responding to families in crisis and supporting our police department as well as the Snohomish County Fire District 7. This experience gives them the further training they need to meet the needs of our Community. Congratulations to both of you!
