This year’s blanket making was a success! Thanks to our caring community members, officers from several different agencies, and NWTC’s Criminal Justice program! We had an amazing turn out and so many blankets to be handed out. As always, the blankets will be given out to our elders, domestic violence programs, for our patrol officers to hand out, and for other community programs. Thank you again to all who came out this past Saturday!

***Cat has been picked up, thank you I know this is a long shot but do people still have cats as pets? If so is anyone missing this one? It was found near Hattie Lane. We will hang on to the 🐱 until later this evening before bringing it to the humane society.

Please be aware there is a scam letter circulating that is targeting elders. The scam involves a letter stating the person has won a large amount of money and only needs to pay the sales tax portion to receive the rest of the winnings. The check attached looks very realistic but please do not cash it and do not send anyone money you do not know. If you have any questions or suspect you have received a scam letter please contact OPD.
