Looking for something to do with the family tomorrow while it is cold and rainy outside? The Mad City Police Hockey Club is hosting a hockey tournament fundraiser at the Oregon Ice Area tomorrow and Sunday. It is a family friendly event with open skate times and a bouncy house! Admission is free. There will be a raffle, food and drinks for purchase. Other agencies participating besides our Department include Madison Fire Department, Dane County First Responders, Janesville PD, Milwaukee PD and WI DNR. Check out the link for more detals on times. From a Beat Cop today: "A red fox was struck today in the 900 block of S. Midvale around 12:40 pm. Two passerby's stopped to help the injured fox. The fox was lucky that one of them works at the Humane Society. The two braved the cold holding the fox down until animal control arrived. Animal control was conveying it to the animal hospital and thought it looked promising." Here's to a speedy recovery!
