Hazel Green Police Department News

The Hazel Green Police Department would like to remind the citizens of the Village of Hazel Green that alternate side parking began Wednesday, November 1st at 12:00 AM. Winter parking sides of the street are correspond to the dates (odd and even) and the address of the residences. The times for alternate side parking enforcement are 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM. For Example: If the date at 12:00 AM is November 1st, then vehicles should be parked on the odd numbered side (South and West). If the date at 12:00 AM is November 2nd, then vehicles should be parked on the even-numbered side (North and East). This does not apply to streets that have restrictions on parking to one side of the street. To help citizens get into the routine of the alternate parking, the police department will place warning slips on vehicles until November 15th unless there are snowfall and/or ice before that date. For streets that do not have alternate side parking, please move your vehicle around so that the snow can be removed by the village. If you have any questions about alternate parking regulations, feel free to contact the Hazel Green Police Department. The police department and the village thank you for your cooperation.
