A very special, "Thank You" to Wisconsin Vest-a-dog! K9 Rex received his bullet proof vest, as well as a K9 medical kit. The non profit organization raised over $1500 to purchase both items that help keep Rex safe on the street. Recently, K9 Rex was called to help find a domestic violence suspect that fled from officers. Within minutes of his arrival, Rex found the suspect hiding deep in a basement crawl space. These situations are invaluable to have the bullet proof vest for Rex! Thank you WI Vest-a-dog and Twin Lakes community for your support!

Drop off prescription and over-the-counter medications at any time in our lobby!

Recently, K9 Rex took a little week vacation at Shel-Ray Pet Shalet in Bristol. He was very comfortable and had a great time! He even had a good report card from the staff! A big Thank You to Sarah and staff at Shel-Ray for your sponsorship and taking such good care of Rex!

Keep up the good work Rex!!

We would like to give a shout out to K9 Rex for all the hard work he has been doing since becoming a member TLPD. Handler Joe Patla and Rex have been hard at work introducing Rex to the community. Rex has been instrumental in assisting with calls for service and investigations nearly every day he works. On this past Sunday, Officer Patla stopped a vehicle for a violation and after a short investigation; Rex indicated the scent of illegal drugs in the vehicle. Officer Patla discovered drug paraphernalia and a substance that later tested positive for Methamphetamine inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested and confined in the Kenosha County Jail. These drugs may not have been discovered and taken off our streets if it was not for the well-trained nose of Rex. Great job Rex and keep up the good work!

Thank you to Cindy and staff at Doggydo's & Kitty's Too for taking good care of K9 Rex today! Great job!
