We have received increased number of reports of residents being targeted with an all too familiar scam. A person claiming to be from the IRS calls saying that you need to follow their directions or you will be arrested. They then direct you to obtain gift cards. They then tell you that if you don't give them the serial numbers off those gift cards you will be arrested. While most of us recognize this as a scam, many people do not. If you have any family or friends that you think may be easy victims of this scam, please reach out to them and talk to them about it. If you are ever in doubt about a phone call that you received, call and talk to an officer.

This friendly little guy will be spending the night behind bars. He will be waiting for his owners to pick him up at the Wisconsin Humane Society. He was found in the 3200 block of Kensington Square Rd.
