Officer Grunewald is requesting your assistance in identifying the pictured suspect in a recent theft that occurred in the Village of Sturtevant. The suspect is described as black female, wearing a green shirt, black jacket, green/black pants, and a green hat at the time of theft. Anyone with information on the female is requested to make contact with Officer Grunewald at (262) 886-7226, or anonymously through the Racine County Crime Stoppers at (888) 636-9330 or their "P3 Tips" app through your Android or iPhone. SNOW DAY! Officer Grunewald, Officer Purtee, and K9 Rhea come across a couple of young kids sledding near Firemans Park, and decided to join in on the fun. After all, who doesn't like spending time sledding and hanging out with K9 Rhea? I think it's safe to say fun was had by all! Check out Sturtevant PD K9 for more!

Officer Chapman is looking for help to identify the subject in vehicle break in. The male is approximately 6'3 and driving a silver 4 door, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu. Please call 262-886-7234 with any info or leave a tip anonymously through Racine County Crime Stoppers at 888-636-9330.

The Village of Sturtevant has initiated a village wide parking restriction in anticipation of this evening and Friday's snow event. A "Snow Emergency" has been enacted to allow time and room for village plows to properly clear the streets. No on street parking will be permitted beginning at 10:00 pm tonight and ending at 5:00 pm Friday.

Police officers from Racine, Mount Pleasant, Caledonia and Sturtevant police departments helped 60 children shop for Christmas presents at both Walmart and Target. Each child had $200 to spend to by presents for their family and themselves.

Come see the Canadian Pacific Holiday today at the Sturtevant Amtrak Train Station! Parking is limited at the Train Station, so you’ll need to get there early! Please remember that this event is also a fundraiser. Bring your non-perishable food items or cash donations. All money and food collected will go to our local food banks.

Please remind your family, friends and neighbors that Alternate Side Parking begins December 1st!

The famed Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be rolling into the Sturtevant Amtrak Train Deport at 5:25pm on December 2nd, once again. Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations, all of which stay in the local community.

This puppy was located running loose in the 9500 block of Broadway Drive. It has been turned over to the Wisconsin Human Society on Chicory Road.

If you or someone you know happens to be wondering where his or her baby stroller went you can have that person swing on by the Sturtevant Police Department. On 10/26/2017, at approximately 2:00 am an officer located a baby stroller, empty, on the side of the roadway of the 8500 block of Westminster Driver. Provide details and physical description of your baby stroller and we will be happy to give it back to you.

Join us at the Case Criminal Justice Car/Bike show sponsored by the Village Of Mount Pleasant Police Department. Event starts at Noon and runs to 4:00 pm. All proceeds go to the Case High School Scholarship fund.

The POLICE Department WON the Back to School Supply Event. We delivered all the supplies to Dr. Jones, Schulte and West Ridge Schools. Thank you to Everyone who donated!!!
