New Berlin Police Department News

Man those New Berlin cops keep looking younger all the time. (Especially the one on the left.) No, seriously, NBPD teamed up with Keegan to get him set up as a police officer from the 1920's for his role as a police lieutenant in his school's upcoming performance of "Annie." Break a leg Keegan, and if the acting thing doesn't work out, we'd love to have you as a real police officer in ten years.

Don't forget to come out and see your New Berlin Police Department Polar Plunge team take the leap for Special Olympics this Sunday at noon at the zoo. They put the large pool of freezing water right next to the Polar Bear tank. How fitting. Please click on this link if you would like to sponsor any of our officers as they jump in freezing cold water.

Our Police K9’s like to always be engaged in activities on-duty and off-duty. When K9 Condor isn’t busy catching criminals, he is out there catching... falling snow!

Good advice that applies to our community as well-

A big thanks to WI Attorney General Brad Schimel for coming and speaking with our Citizen's Academy Alumni Association at their recent general meeting. Brad has been a good friend to New Berlin PD, Waukesha County and all of law enforcement.

Residents are advised of a water main break in the 1600blk of Coachlight Dr. The break is causing a reduction in water pressure. Crews are currently working to fix the problem. Sgt Herro

The New Berlin Police Department asks the community to join us in wishing these two fine officers a long, happy and healthy retirement. Captain Linda Dane (L) spent her entire 37 year police career protecting and serving the citizens of New Berlin, serving in numerous capacities at the department, including her time as one of our first canine handlers. Officer Rhonda Eisold (middle photo) served the city for 32 years and was one of the department's first D.A.R.E. Officers in 1990. Their 69 years of combined service will not be forgotten, but the caring and compassion they put into their careers will truly be missed by all of us. Good luck Linda and Rhonda!

This young New Berlin resident has been proudly creating and selling dog treats for the past year, donating the proceeds to charitable causes. Recently, Amanda chose to donate to the K-9 Unit. So, we worked with Amanda's parents to arrange a special meeting for her with K-9 Askan and Officer Helm. Thank you Amanda!
