10/05/2018 5PM – 10/08/2018 8AM Over the weekend, the Bethel Police Department received 212 calls for service, 86 of which involved alcohol. Calls included disturbance calls, ems calls, intoxicated pedestrians, and suspicious incidents. Here are some of our notable calls. 1813679: Disturbance- Dispatch received a report of a male who assaulted someone. Officers responded and made contact with 20-year old Thomas Evon of Bethel. After further investigation Evon was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Assault in the fourth degree, Domestic Violence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1813686: DUI- Dispatch received a REDDI report of a drunk driver on the highway going towards the airport. Officers responded and made contact with 33-year old Valerie Wiseman of Bethel. After further investigation Wiseman was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Driving Under the Influence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1813747: DUI- Dispatch received a REDDI report of a male on an ATV going back and forth down the road. Officers responded and made contact with 54-year old Edward Berlin of Bethel. After further investigation Berlin was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. Calls included disturbance calls, intoxicated pedestrians, subject removals, and welfare checks. Here are some of our notable calls. 1813204: Disturbance- Dispatch received a report of a dispute in the building. Officers responded and made contact with 28-year old Jacob Beans of Mountain Village. After further investigation Beans was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Assault in the fourth degree, Domestic Violence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1813221: DUI- Dispatch received a REDDI report of a drunk driver on the State Highway. Officers responded and made contact with 21-year old Sherry Berlin of Bethel. After further investigation Berlin was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Driving Under the Influence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1813293: Disturbance- Dispatch received a report of intoxicated people fighting and being loud. Officers responded and made contact with 24-year old Ralph Reuter of Bethel. After further investigation Reuter was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for two count of Assault in the third degree, Domestic Violence. Calls included 911-Hang ups, disturbance calls, intoxicated pedestrians, and subject removals. Here are some of our notable calls. 1812888: Disturbance- Dispatch received a report of a female saying she got hit by another female. Officers responded and made contact with 24-year old Christine Francis of Toksook Bay. After further investigation Francis was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for two counts of Assault in the fourth degree, Domestic Violence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1812892: Subject Removal- Dispatch received a report of a male wanting someone out of their residence. Officers responded and made contact with 36-year old Richard Kinegak of Bethel. After further investigation Kinegak was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Assault in the fourth degree, Domestic Violence and Disorderly Conduct. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1812968: Subject Removal- Dispatch received a report of a female wanting an intoxicated person out of her residence. Officers responded and made contact with 45-year old Dean Demientieff of Bethel. After further investigation Demientieff was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Assault in the fourth degree, Domestic Violence. Here are some of our notable calls. 1812652: Traffic Stop- Officers conducted a traffic stop on Ptarmigan Road and made contact with 43-year old Yako Larson of Bethel. After further investigation Larson was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Driving Under the Influence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1812661: 911-Hang Up- Dispatch received a report of a domestic dispute. Officers responded and made contact with 42-year old Donavon Alexie of Bethel. After further investigation Alexie was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Assault in the fourth degree. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1812672: Welfare Check- Dispatch received a report of a female wanting a welfare check on her friend. Officers responded and made contact with 31-year old Adolph Paul of Bethel. Here are some of our notable calls. 1812269: DUI- Dispatch received a REDDI report for a possible drunk driver leaving AC Main in a red pickup. Officers responded and made contact with 58-year old Harvey Anvil of Bethel. After further investigation Anvil was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Driving Under the Influence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1812300: DUI- Dispatch received a REDDI report for a possible drunk driver driving towards Swanson’s in a black pickup truck. Officers responded and made contact with 27-year old Georgiane Simons of Bethel. After further investigation Simons was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test and Driving while Driver’s License Revoked. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1812339: Domestic Violence- Dispatch received a report of a male hitting a female. Officers responded and made contact with 28-year old Paul John of Bethel. After further investigation John was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Assault in the fourth degree, Domestic Violence, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. Here are some of our notable calls. 1811684: Subject Removal- Dispatch received a report of a male causing a disturbance and wanting them removed from the residence. Officers responded and made contact with 41-year old Brian Konig of Bethel. After further investigation Konig was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Assault in the fourth degree, Domestic Violence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1811695: Suspicious Person- Dispatch received a report stating there is a male who has a gun in Kasayuli. Officers responded and made contact with 25-year old James Williams of Bethel. After further investigation Williams was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for False Report and Resisting Arrest. Alcohol was not a factor in this case. 1811706: Traffic Stop- Officers conducted a traffic stop on the highway and pulled over an ATV and made contact with 37-year old Racheal Evans of Bethel. After further investigation Evans was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for DUI. Here are some of our notable calls. 1811457: DUI- Dispatch received a report from an officer that he noticed a vehicle sitting with its lights on and found a passed out female inside. After further investigation and contact with the female, 31-year old Marlene Kassock of Bethel was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Driving Under the Influence. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1811411: Disturbance- Dispatch received a report of a female who was refusing to leave a property and threatening people. Officers responded and made contact with 54-year old Lorrena Prince of Kotlik. After further investigation Prince was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Criminal Trespass in the second degree. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1811381: Disturbance- Dispatch received a report of an intoxicated male trying to fight people. Officers responded and made contact with 31-year old John Lomack of Bethel and 53- year old Maxie Mezak of Bethel. After further investigation Lomack was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Violating Conditions of Release and Disorderly Conduct. Mezak was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Violating Conditions of Release. After further investigation Boan was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for one count of Robbery in the second degree, one count of Theft in the third degree, and one count of Assault in the fourth degree. Alcohol was a factor in this case. 1810212: Disturbance- Dispatch received a report of an intoxicated female refusing to leave. Officers responded and made contact with 24-year old Maggie James of Bethel. After further investigation James was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center for Disorderly Conduct and Violating Conditions of Release. Officers responded and eventually made contact with 35-year old Joellen Stuart of Bethel.
