Seven applicants passed the written test to become the next EPD officer. Now it’s time for the physical fitness portion then interviews.

From Chief White: Attention! Attention! Attention! I am pleased to announce that Ofc. Ashley Barnes has been selected as Officer of The month for the month August. Ofc. Barnes was selected due to her initiative taken and investigative skills displayed which subsequently lead to the arrest of two subjects and a large amount of illegal narcotics being recovered. Ofc. Barnes, upon conducting a felony arrest, was able to forward pertinent information to assisting officers who subsequently made an additional arrest and seized additional drugs. Ofc.
