Officers with the Eagar Police Department assisted with a lock down drill at the Round Valley Elementary School. On an over all perspective the drill went rather well. Please remember that these type of drills are done to help protect our children during a bad situation.

The Eagar Police Department would like to recognize Bob Reece who recently passed away at the age of 85. Bob had been a CVP (Civilian Volunteer Patrol) since May 1, 2008 and maintained that involvement with the program until his passing. Bob most recently worked the 4th of July parade. Bob had been in the area for over 25 years and came here after retiring from a law enforcement career in Pinal County. Bob had a great personality and was a pleasure to work with. He loved Halloween and made sure to come out and bring candy for the children at each Trunk or Treat event Eagar Police Department was involved in. Bob will be greatly missed by those at the Eagar Police Department and our prayers are with his family. Bob's desire to help regularly is truly appreciated. The Eagar Police Department thanks Bob Reece for his service to the Town of Eagar. It will surely be missed.
