Community Information: To report street light outages: If you have access to the internet, please visit: https://www.aps.com/en/_layouts/APScom/ApsServices/ReportStreetlightOutage.aspx. Fill out the online report form and submit. This is the fastest option, and takes approximately 10-15 days. The second option is to call 602-371-7171, verbally say "street light outage" then follow the voice prompts. In both instances, you will need to supply information of where the street light issue is at, a pole number is preferred if you have it. You will need the following information: the location of the street light, closest street address, major cross streets and/or any additional information you may have. Please report street light outages directly to APS. Thank you.

UPDATE: more photos of armed robbery, October 6, 2018. *************************************** The Williams Police Department is asking for help from the public in an armed robbery of Saya's Mustang gas station on the east end of Williams. There is a $250.00 reward for any information leading to the arrest of this individual. The armed robbery occurred on October 6th, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Please call the Williams Police Department at 928-635-4461 or Silent Witness at 928-635-5992. To clarify: this armed robbery happened October 6, 2018. We have no information about a vehicle or mode of travel at this time.

General information: Please keep watch in the school neighborhood and hotel areas. There has been an increase in stolen equipment and license plates being removed from vehicles. If you see something suspicious please call the police department immediately - 928-635-4461. Updated info: license plates were removed from vehicles in the area around Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and West Franklin Ave. Please keep watch in your own neighborhood and report anything suspicious.

Welcome back students! Monday, August 6th, starts the new school year for Williams students. Williams Police Department officers will be heavily working all school zones. There will be zero tolerance for speeding in any school zone. Be safe, be aware.

This is a general non emergency notification. Sewer line repair is needed within the Williams area. This will possibly affect residents on Cedar street. Sewer system may be affected for approximately one hour or less on August 2.

Be on the lookout for a vehicle stolen from the Williams golf course area. Vehicle description: 2012 Lincoln MKZ, license plate 610PLM, CORRECTION: owner clarified, vehicle is a steel blue color Williams Police Department would also like to remind residents to lock vehicle doors, garage doors and other doors. Anything suspicious call the police department. Vehicle theft on the rise in the Flagstaff and Williams areas.

Alert from the Williams Police Department - Residents in the Wells Fargo, Hereford, Quarterhorse, Stockmens and Homestead area: On 7/26/2018, a child was bitten by a black and tan, long haired Rottweiler looking dog.
