Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) News

Today marks the beginning of National TIM Awareness Week. No, it's not a special week for people named "Tim." It stands for "Traffic Incident Management" and while that's a term most people are unfamiliar with, you see it in action every time you drive. TIM happens in places like work zones and crash scenes, and is a planned and coordinated process to detect, respond to and remove traffic incidents and restore traffic capacity as safely and quickly as possible. For more information on TIM, visit the Arizona Traffic Incident Management Awareness website.
