Ariana Morrison is described as a white female approximately 4'10" tall and 160 lbs with redish blonde hair and brown eyes. Surprise Police are currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating Adrian Lopez, a 15 year old runaway. Adrian Lopez is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'9" tall and 175 lbs with brown eyes and black hair. ***UPDATE: The suspect in this case, Brandon Monaghan, has been arrested and is being booked into the Maricopa county jail on multiple felony counts to include burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.*** On 10/24/18 Surprise Police responded to the area of 14500 W. Shaw Butte Drive reference a call from a resident that an unknown man was in her home. The victim reported that she came home and found the man sleeping on her living room floor. She confronted him at which time he paced around the house for a short period of time before ultimately grabbing the keys to her vehicle off the table. He made his way out of the house, got into her vehicle, and drove off. The victim was able to record the man in her home on her cellular phone. She was not injured during the incident. The victim’s vehicle was recovered several hours later in Phoenix where it had been abandoned. It is believed the suspect entered the home through an unlocked back door. This a great reminder of how important it is to ensure your home and vehicles are secured at all times by locking your doors and windows. Investigators reviewed the video and received information indicating Brandon Monaghan was the man inside of the home. Surprise Police are asking anyone with information on Brandon Monaghan’s whereabouts to please call 623-222-TIPS or e-mail CrimeTips@Surpriseaz.gov. Surprise Public Safety officials invite you to attend the upcoming G.A.I.N. Night (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods). The engaging community event is scheduled to occur Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 6-9 pm at 15960 North Bullard Avenue (on the Mark Coronado park). This FREE family event will have plenty of great entertainment, activities for kids, trick or treating, and much more. Please bring canned food donations for the Salvation Army.
